• Sports field maintenance
• Mower set up and operation.
• Sand spreading
• Land Drainage Works (Operation of whizz wheel gravel hopper etc)
• Fertilizer Spreading

• Seed bed preparations and grass drilling
• Overseeding
• Hedge cutting (Must be able to cut hedges to high standard for non-agricultural customers)
• Operating JCB Telehandlers for materials handling rolls
• Hauling machines and products using tractors and trailers
Additional duties and experience would be beneficial:
• Agricultural Contracting various duties
• Strimming
• Log Processing
• Operating-360-degree excavators
• Repair and maintenance to machinery
Person Specification:
• Qualifications/requirements include Telehandler qualification to NPORS Standard with knowledge of relevant agricultural health and safety policies and procedures.
• NPORS Tractor ticket would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the use of laser level
• Experienced in operations described above.
• Ability to use and embrace GPS Steering and mapping technology.
• Self-motivated.
• Possesses can do attitude. Be flexible and adaptable including to seasonal variations to hours worked. Willing to work long unsociable hours at busy periods during the year as and when required.
• A good mechanical aptitude and able to carry out relevant repairs
• Good communication skills within team and with customers, contractors etc.
• Work effectively in teams and be able to work co-operatively.
• Physically able to perform manual work.
